Serial e-fiction from Amazon
Sascha pointed out this new distribution strategy from Amazon, apropos last night’s conversation about getting writers paid. I think holding the content hostage is the way to go.
Also, they plan to have discussion boards where people can interact with each other and with the authors. That seems like a really exciting new development. Wouldn’t it be great to see the kind of excitement and interaction that people have in the fan art communities on tumblr spread to mainstream fiction?! I am not Amazon’s biggest fan, but man, I really hope this works out.
